Observing Nature

Last week, as we learned about nature and how we can look at something closely to learn more about it, both classes got to go on a "nature hike". Luckily, we had great weather and we were able to walk around our building and spend time observing the things around us. We then sketched and wrote about what we saw. Just a few of our discoveries were: crickets, spider webs, fallen leaves, berries, crab apples, trees with leaves, trees with no leaves, tall trees, small trees, bushes, pine trees, dead trees, and more! Not to mention all of the different sounds that we heard. Our students became excellent nature spies!

Classroom Fun!

Students were given an opportunity to explore some of our math materials. They were quite creative and worked hard to make patterns and build unique designs.

We are learning about the letter Aa! We can write it and hear it in words!
